I would like to welcome the newly elected Board members – Mike Harmon, Mark Rossi, Mike Rush and Jennifer Siegert. Three of the four are returning from prior terms and Mike Harmon is serving his first term. Welcome to all of you. We have a lot to accomplish to maintain our unique commons area. We also have an approved 2010, operating budget.I promise not to “harp” very long here, but those homeowners who have sump pumps dumping water in the streets should really step back and re-think what potential problems you may be causing your neighbors. 

The flyer recently passed out in the neighborhood was not authorized for distribution by the Northville Commons Board of Directors. I can assure all of you that the Board will assess all the projects on our list and to the best of our ability will determine what capital improvements will be completed in 2010 and which will be attempted at a later date. While we would like to have all the projects completed in a short period of time, that may not be possible within our current dues structure.  However, the Board is gathering quotes on all projects and will be making recommendations to the entire Commons after our review. There are many items needing attention before they require much greater expenditures. Be patient and we hope to have some suggestions before too long.
